Phil Fischer is an evangelist and founder of Seattle Revival, a non-profit evangelical missions organization based on Holy Spirit anointed worship and revival services. Phil has no title.
Phil’s testimony and the ability God has given to him to reach out to the lost can be seen every Thursday night.
“In January of 2011 God began pushing me to leave the world of music behind and to enter evangelism and teaching. My Pastor Varun Laohaprasit had always told me I had the gifting of evangelism, but I never wanted to evangelize or teach the word of God because I was embarrassed to talk about Jesus in front of people. Over the last two years, I have seen how the Holy Spirit changes people’s lives both here in the United States and overseas in countries like India and Thailand and the middle east. I saw firsthand how the Love of Jesus began to pour into people’s souls, making them a new creation. God began to give me supernatural wisdom about the body of Christ, and how important it is to see lives being touched here in Seattle with true revival, true worship, and how important it is that we create disciples right here in Seattle”.
Phil abandoned his music ministry on 2011 to follow the call of Jesus and start a revival and prayer ministry in Seattle. Phil’s teachings are from the Holy Spirit and never prepared. They emphasize a growing passion for Jesus through intimacy with God, doing evangelism and missions work preparing for the return of Jesus.
Phil is married with three small children and lives in Bellevue, Washington. When he is not preaching the gospel, he loves to worship Jesus. Phil’s music is distributed nation wide at Lifeway Family Christian Centers but his music is for free at www.philfischer.com
There is allot about my “old life” floating around, but none of that is important now. I came to Christ in March of 2001.
Once I discovered that Jesus was the answer I was searching for, I began to attend a small care group in Bellevue, Washington led by Pat Macaluso and with his anointed teaching, I came to know the Lord even closer. I was also shepherded by Neal & Mary Jo Calkins, who are the elders of our church.
I then began to serve in a small ministry in downtown Seattle as a helper. The ministry met every Friday on second and Pine in Seattle. Amazing Grace served the poor and neglected in downtown Seattle and we met every Friday at 7PM. As the years passed I moved onto leading worship and eventually God allowed me to teach the word to that small group that reached out to the lost in Seattle.
I served in that ministry for eight years until it was closed by the leadership in 2008.
In the meantime, I was attending a mostly Thai and international church on Mercer Island named New Hope International Church. During this time I pushed back into my music releasing my first Christian album and managed to move to #3 on MySpace and in 2012, I was the most downloaded Christian artist on MySpace but I never pursued it past that because slowly God began to move me away from my music. I did not want to be a part of the “music scene” anymore, which has turned into a pay for radio play system controlled by the enemy.
In 2010 and 2011 I began to go through a series of trials and God began to change me and mold me and I came out of that experience closer to God, closer to the call that he had on my life and I agreed in January of 2014 to start God’s ministry and try to reach the lost.
I prayed about a location and God wants me right here in Bellevue for now. This ministry is currently meeting at my Church in Bellevue, but we are eagerly looking for a new space somewhere in Seattle, where we can call our own.
Yours in Christ,
